Yes. This is a solid wood core door with individual unique 1/4" thick pieces of reclaimed wood affixed on the front and back.
While neither door has a smooth surface the Reclaimed doors are flat. The Riptop uses the recycled "ripped" pieces that are uneven which creates a pattern that is unique to each door.
The stiles and rails of the door have an uneven frame that is not conducive to the face mount hangers, so we only offer the top mount hanger styles.
For both Kit and Assembled doors the hardware (hangers, handles and pulls) are not installed and the doors are not pre-drilled which allows every installation the ability to make any unique changes needed specific to your needs.
Yes, our patented adjustable spacers and header-boards allow the door to be installed over existing door frames.
